Frequently asked questions

The answers to your most commonly asked questions about SO Resi Partnerships

No. This is up to you as the client. SO Resi is an award-winning brand known for its specialist approach to shared ownership delivery. It has fantastic customer recognition in the marketplace, which may help with enquiry levels and sales delivery. However, we work with several clients who decide to market under their own development brand.  Whether it is a SO Resi-named development or a client-named development, our high standards remain.

SO Resi does not operate traditional high street branches. Instead, we mainly operate online  supported by in-person experience days and events. This strategic approach is extremely effective, especially in the Shared Ownership space, where the buyer profile differs from the private sale market and customers tend to gather as much information online first before making further decisions.

To connect with customers, we will utilise a variety of online and in-person tools, from 3D virtual viewings and links to visual content such as drone footage and online consultant bookings. We host in-person events in accessible locations to allow customers to see samples of specification choices and hold development launches. Our consultants have worked on hundreds of developments throughout England, and we have built an extensive database of local knowledge through our market intelligence team that ensures we provide customers with detailed personal experiences about the area in which they are choosing to buy.

We have over 50 years of experience in planning, building, marketing and managing properties across all tenures in the property industry. Our housing association background ensures that we are experts in governance and compliance, have deep relationships with local authorities and understand how to navigate complex challenges that you, as our client, may face in your journey. Our team are across all legislation changes and quickly amends our systems to make the necessary changes required, which you, as a client, will benefit from.

We have a dedicated market intelligence team that provides fantastic depth and insight into market conditions and tracks an array of indicators, including house prices, regional demographic trends, development valuations, and plenty more. The team provides detailed market intelligence reports for clients to help inform development decisions, and this has proven to be an invaluable resource to our partners.

Our market intelligence team works alongside our digital and operational marketing teams to verify that the analytical data is consistently supported by real-world events in the marketplace. The marketing team also monitors source leads and advertising returns to adapt to changing buying habits and preferences and feeds this information to our market intelligence team, which provides a continuous loop of external and internal feedback, supported by industry reports and figures and our own internal SO Resi data.

It depends on the development and your requirements – we adjust and adapt our fees accordingly.
